It not wings! But it is close.

This is another recipe designed to deliver protein. In a continued quest to look better in clothes, there must be a change in life style. You know, exercise and healthy diet. This recipe is low in fat and high in protein.

My sons love it!

INGREDIENTS

12 chicken tenders
3 tsp honey
3 Tbsp Texas Pete hot sauce
2 Tbsp low-sodium Worcestershire sauce
1/2 tsp minced garlic
1/2 tsp paprika

PREPARATION

Preheat an iron skillet on medium-high, coated with olive oil. In the summer use the grill with some hickory.

Stir together the hot sauce, honey, Worcestershire sauce, garlic, and paprika in a small bowl. Microwave for 10 seconds, stirring to mix in the honey.

Place the chicken and half of the sauce mixture in a large ziplock bag and shake until coated. Really give it ride.

Pour the coated tenders into the skillet and cook for 2 to 3 minutes per side.

Put the remaining spice mixture in small bowls for dipping. Makes 2 servings.

Serve with celery sticks and 4 Tbsp (2 Tbsp per serving) of Ken's Steak House Lite chunky blue-cheese dressing. Go light on the blue cheese.
